The recent scandals in Washington have eroded the public's trust in their elected officials. The American people are longing for Truth, Morality and Leadership. Congress must dedicate itself to serving the real needs of their constituents and strengthen the ethical standards in Washington to restore America's trust in the government that serves them. Public servants must be worthy of the awesome responsibility that has been placed in their hands, and never betray that trust. Congress is failing the American people and not focusing on the people's work in order to solve the most critical issues facing this country.
