(RANGER, GA) – State Representative and 9th District Republican candidate for Congress Tom Graves (R-Ranger) yesterday unveiled the first part of a biography video series for his campaign.  The video,  entitled “Tom Graves: Right Values,” is narrated by Graves and his wife Julie, and features memories and important milestones in his life that have helped to shape and form his faith, and the strong conservative and family values that guide his decision making. These beliefs are his foundation and make-up the reason Graves was drawn to public service and still aspires to serve North Georgia today.

“I decided to run for his seat so that I could be a voice for our North Georgia values in Washington,” said Graves. “These values are the ones instilled in me by my parents, cultivated through my community of faith, enhanced by my marriage to Julie, and lived out as examples to my children. It is my hope that this video will give viewers a glimpse into who I am, as I humbly ask for their vote in November.”

Graves announced earlier this year he would seek the 9th District Congressional seat, which is currently held by Congressman n Deal who is running for Governor.

He has earned the endorsement of the Club for Growth PAC, the nation’s premier free-market, free enterprise group of conservatives, Miss United States 2009 Erin Grizzle, Can-Do Conservatives and conservative author Jonathan Krohn.  Graves was the first candidate to be certified 100 percent pro-life by the Georgia Right to Life PAC.  The Graves campaign is earning the support of conservatives throughout the 9th District, overwhelmingly won the only two straw polls and through September 2009 leads all candidates in the race with over $279,000 raised for the election cycle from 753 contributors.  The campaign continues to have the largest online presence of any candidate in the congressional race, has over 400 grassroots volunteers and is organized in all 15 counties of the district.
