9th District Scouting Report: Team Graves #1 Seed going into March Madness

Tom Graves entered the 9th District Congressional Race last May after Congressman Nathan Deal decided to seek another office.

Tom is a small town guy with small town values, making a big time difference. Coming from Ranger, a small town in the north Georgia mountains, Tom's success in the big leagues is unmatched:

- Co-recipient of "Entrepreneur of the Year" - Freedom Works with conservative Marco Rubio.

Team Graves, a scrappy bunch of North Georgia conservatives, refused to listen to the critics and instead worked countless hours, consumed WAY too much Bar-B-Que, and logged thousands of miles spreading their conservative message, vaulting themselves into the #1 seed.

Closing out a successful recruitment period, Team Graves signed a blue-chip class of recruits who will man the field and spread Tom's conservative message to the 9th District voters.

Team Graves runs an aggressive offense that implements old school tactics and embraces new technology. There are over 605 GA-9 Freedom Fighters volunteering for his campaign and his booster club consists of 1,636 fans on Facebook and grows daily.

In the preseason Team Graves remains undefeated, winning all the straw polls held in the 9th District.

In addition to the strongest grassroots team, Tom's fundraising is on top as well. His campaign has raised more funds than any other candidate from more than 1,200 donors and received contributions from each of the 15 counties.

Final assessment as the team heads into March Madness:
Team Graves has the leadership, organization and resources in place to go all the way. The county coordinators are proven and seasoned. Its recruiting class is the best in the district, including many All-District, Team 180 players and the resources needed to get its message out.
